Organisation of training workshops at local level from July to November 2006
The project team has started the implementation of a series of training workshops in each beneficiary country. This activity is targeting at strengthening capacity of municipalities and local stakeholders in selected countries.
These workshops are designed to target professionals at local level, and to rely for delivery on the national and regional solid waste experts that are part of the clusters of experts identified and trained by the RSWMP. In this respect, Each trainer will carry out a training workshop at local level in his/her own country and participate as a regional trainer in another training workshop to be held in a second country. Members of the METAP/RMG team are also participating in these workshops.
