Welcome to the METAP Regional Solid Waste Management Project and its Internet Portal called "Solid Waste Management Centre". This portal constitutes one of the key information exchange and communication tools of this important Regional Solid Waste Management initiative.

This portal gives the opportunity to exchange information about the METAP Regional Solid Waste Management project, upcoming events, the status of activities and the results being achieved. Waste management "lessons learned" could be shared so that people in one location can benefit from the experiences of people in another location. This Portal serves also as a platform for the dissemination of other information and activities relevant to municipal waste management in the region.

The Portal encourages stakeholders in the region and elsewhere to contact us and to share news and perspectives concerning their waste management activities, or how the METAP Regional Solid Waste Management Project can support local waste management initiatives.

This portal is an efficient means for sharing and disseminating information relevant to this project and to general aspects of Solid Waste Management.
